Bevor es nach Paris ging, wollten wir eine Nacht in Reims bleiben. Die Stadt liegt noch knapp 145 km vor Paris und unsere Intention dabei war, einfach spontan irgendwo einzuschlagen. Wir hatten keine Ahnung was es mit dieser Stadt auf sich hat und ließen es auf uns zukommen.
Um die A4 entlang nach Reims zu kommen, versuchten wir an einem großen Kreisverkehr vor einer Autobahnauffahrt zu trempen. Ich hatte schon vorher das Gefühl, dass dies in Frankreich nicht so einfach sein wird…es hat auch nicht wirklich funktioniert, sodass wir mal eben ganz spontan von Norden nach Süden durch den Stadtkern sind, um noch schnell einen Bus nach Reims zu erwischen.

In Reims angekommen, war ich mir nicht ganz sicher, in welchem Film wir uns da befinden. Es sah anders aus, als das was wir vorher so gesehen haben. Die Stadt machte einen gesunden Eindruck auf mich und sieht echt schön aus. Wir waren wohl mitten in Frankreich. Auf dem Weg zu unserem Host, sahen wir einen Teil des Zentrums:

Da wir nur eine Nacht hatten, gingen wir spät abends mit einem Freund unseres Hosts in ein Pub. Dort trafen wir seine Freunde. Ich war erstaunt, wie offen die Gruppe war, englisch zu sprechen. Dennoch konnte ich mir auch bestätigen lassen, wie faul die Franzosen sind, eine Fremdsprache sprechen zu müssen. Ich denke aber, dass die jungen Leute bemerkt haben, dass wenigstens Englisch unentbehrlich in der heutigen Zeit ist.
Es gab verschiedene Biere, unter anderem das hauseigene Kilberry. Irgendwann organisierte jemand aus der Gruppe eine Flasche Sekt und ich dachte mir, was geht jetzt ab. Ich dachte, es wäre „nur“ Sekt. Bis zu dem Zeitpunkt wussten wir aber nicht, dass wir in der Hauptstadt des Champagner gelandet sind 😀 Darüber wurden wir dann bei einem Gläschen Champagner aufgeklärt und wir durften gute Qualität erfahren.

Nebenbei spielten wir Darts (Ein Danke geht an Mario, für die einigen Male Darts mit dir <3) und gegen 2 a.m. war die Stimmung heiter. Kleine Anmerkung, Franzosen vertragen nicht so viel Alkohol 😉 Doch dann der Schock, daß Pub machte einen Ausschankstop, da bald geschlossen wird. Wir dachten uns, es ist doch erst 2 a.m.???
Leider mussten wir dann die Örtlichkeit verlassen und gingen zum Aftern (Eigentlich findet der Begriff Anwendung, wenn man nach einem Clubbesuch noch irgendwo anders weiter vegetiert) zurück in die Wohnung des Hosts.
Mittlerweile war es schon der 21.09.17.

Nach ein paar Stunden Schlaf ging es los zu einer Polizeiwache, die kurz vor einer Autobahnauffahrt liegt, zum Schildchen hochhalten. Dort standen wir ca. 1h und wollten dann spontan einen günstigen Bus nach Paris nehmen, als wir wieder nicht wegkamen. Diesen haben wir aber auch nicht bekommen und sind letztendlich mit einer Mitfahrgelegenheit nach Paris.
Im Nachhinein betrachtet haben wir wieder zu früh aufgegeben. In Deutschland sind wir echt gut weggekommen sodass wir wohl nun etwas Wind von vorne „nötig“ haben ^^.
Als wir dann mit dem Auto im Pariser Vorland waren, verspürte man schon, dass Paris nicht gerade klein ist und 5 Spuren auf der Autobahn zu wenig sind.
In Paris selbst leben mehr als 2 Mio. Menschen, mit dem umliegenden Regionen sind es ca. 12 Mio.
Auf dem Weg zur Wohnung einer Freundin checkten wir verschiedene Supermärkte aus, um herauszufinden, welcher der günstigste ist. Letztendlich fanden wir eine Art LIDL und die Wahl des Abendbrots fiel dabei wieder mal auf Spaghetti 😛

Spontanität:
Der kleine Abstecher nach Reims hat sich allemal gelohnt. Er ist ein Indiz dafür, was Spontanität manchmal für einen übrig hält 😉 Wir hätten vorher nicht gedacht, dass es so witzig wird.
Persönliche Gedanken:
Es stellt sich allmählich eine kleine Routine ein. Sprich, das Leben aus dem Backpack wird normal und ich vermisse wenig. Die wenigen Dinge, die ich vermissen könnte, lassen sich weltweit eintauschen (Freunde und Familie ausgenommen, hier geht’s um materielle Dinge). Aber einen Computer oder den übrigen Krempel zu Hause, vermisse ich nicht. Mir wird immer bewusster, wie viel unnötigen Müll man im eigenen Besitz haben kann.
Dabei muss ich zugeben, dass das aktuelle Besitztum sicherlich nicht vollkommen ausreichen mag, wenn man sich gänzlich wo nieder lässt. Doch da bin ich mir noch nicht so sicher 😉
Generell kann ich sagen, dass zum Leben nicht viel notwendig ist. Ein neues Handy oder die neuesten Klamotten machen mich schon lange nicht mehr glücklich. Einzig und allein die Lichtfrequenzen von Erlebnissen auf Reisen, die auf meine Netzhaut treffen und in meinem Kopf als Erinnerungen, gekoppelt mit echten Emotionen, abgespeichert werden, lassen mich leben.
